Join the ASCP BOC Program Directors Facebook group
The ASCP BOC Program Directors Facebook group is a group for program directors, educators, faculty, and education and clinical coordinators of NAACLS, CAAHEP, and ABHES-accredited laboratory programs whose students aim to earn an ASCP BOC credential. Supported by volunteers with several years of program experience, this peer-based group can answer your credentialing-related questions and is a resource for information and support.
The ASCP BOC Newsletter is published three times a year, in the spring, summer, and winter, and contains important information regarding ASCP BOC activities. These include updates about changes in eligibility requirements, application processing, examination and credentialing insights, updates on the work of the Board of Governors, and more. As a program director, you will receive an email when the newest edition is published, and they are always available on our website.

Volunteer on the Program Director’s Advisory Committee (PDAC)
The Program Director's Advisory Committee (PDAC) manages the Program Director’s Facebook group and helps ensure that pertinent information is shared with program directors, educators, faculty, and education and clinical coordinators. PDAC is comprised of 1 or 2 representatives from each laboratory program type for which the ASCP BOC offers credentials. As vacancies occur, volunteers with appropriate characteristics are sought to complement the existing composition and ensure a diverse membership. Complete the online volunteer application to be considered for this group.
PDAC Live Zoom Events for Program Directors
The Program Director’s Advisory Committee (PDAC) hosts live events monthly over Zoom to discuss topics that are top of mind for educators. Recordings of past events are available and new details are shared regularly on the Program Director's Facebook page.
