National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS)

NAACLS is a recognized agency for accreditation of many program types. Graduates of the NAACLS-accredited programs below may apply for ASCP BOC credentials using a program route: 

  • Medical Laboratory Scientist
  • Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Clinical Assistant (can apply for the Medical Laboratory Assistant credential)
  • Cytogenetics
  • Diagnostic Molecular Science (can apply for the Technologist in Molecular Biology credential)
  • Histotechnician
