Coming Soon! ASCP BOC to Launch Credly Digital Badging to Benefit Credential Holders

In early 2026, the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) will launch digital badging through Credly, a trusted provider that increases the visibility of ASCP BOC credential holders by securely allowing professionals to showcase and share their credentials. This exciting advancement marks a major milestone in how the ASCP BOC supports credentialed professionals to evidence their expertise and communicate the value of ASCP BOC credentials to the global laboratory community and beyond.  

ASCP BOC digital badges issued through Credly show that a professional has earned an ASCP BOC credential, recognized by top employers in the medical laboratory field. By displaying these badges, you demonstrate your commitment to excellence and career advancement.

While digital badges are an exciting new option for providing primary source verification (PSV) of ASCP BOC credentials, the current online order process for PSV of ASCP BOC credentials will remain available.

 

Digital badges issued via Credly offer a modern, secure, and accessible way for ASCP BOC-credentialed laboratory professionals and other experts to highlight the credentials they have attained. Each badge contains embedded, individualized, secure metadata that includes the credential earned, issue date, and current credential status.
