Through December 31, 2025, professionals who have earned an American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) credential will receive a wall certificate from the ASCP BOC.
ASCP BOC wall certificates are custom-printed and mailed to you. We cannot email your wall certificate, nor do we keep copies on file.
ASCP BOC wall certificates are not intended to be used as verification of your credential for an employer or third party. They are for your records only. You may order primary source verification (PSV) of your ASCP BOC credential online.
Wall certificates are ordered weekly and mailed directly from our vendor by first class mail through the United States Postal System (USPS). This level of postal service does not use a tracking number.
As of January 2026, all newly credentialed professionals will receive a digital badge through Credly. Read the article in the September 2025 BOC Newsletter for additional details. Wall certificates will no longer be provided.
Beginning in January 2026, a Credly digital badge may be purchased for $25 if you:
were credentialed prior to the required CMP and have chosen not to participate in CMP.
are in a current CMP cycle and do not want to wait for your CMP renewal to receive a digital badge.
Read the article in the September 2025 BOC Newsletter for additional details about ASCP BOC digital badges.
Earning a credential from the ASCP BOC is a major accomplishment. When you become credentialed, it is your responsibility to uphold those credentials by acting ethically and with integrity, putting patients' best interests first. Read the Credential Holder Code of Conduct.
An ASCP BOC credential may be revoked at any time if it is established that the credential holder has participated in inappropriate or unethical behavior. See additional details about Fraudulent Activity.
