Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Assistant, and Histology Programs

Students who complete your formal, structured training program may apply for an American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) certification.

Histotechnician – HT(ASCP) – Route 2
Histotechnologist – HTL(ASCP) – Route 2
Phlebotomy Technician – PBT(ASCP) – Route 2
Medical Laboratory Assistant – MLA(ASCP) – Route 6

Verification of Structured Program Completion

As the program director of the formal structured training program, you must complete a documentation form and a letter of authenticity for each student who successfully completes your program. Your students will need to upload these documents when submitting their online application.

Academic Requirements

All applicants must be able to verify that they meet all eligibility requirements. Academic requirements must be verified by the applicant submitting an official transcript, sent directly from the educational institution, to the ASCP BOC.
