BOC Nominating Committee  

The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP BOC) Nominating Committee prepares a single slate of nominees for the following year’s Board of Governors (BOG) Executive Committee.  

Responsibilities 

  • Elect one nominee for each of the following positions: 

    • Chair-Elect 

    • Secretary 

    • Financial Officer 

    • Member at Large 

    • American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) representative 

    • Association of Genetic Technologists (AGT) representative 

    • Participating Society representative

  • Review the qualifications and recommend a potential Public Member volunteer, in the years when a new Public Member is elected

Time Commitment 

  • Meets once a year prior to the Spring BOG meeting

Terms 

  • Volunteers are appointed annually by the BOG Chair

Requirement

  • The Nominating Committee is composed of five individuals who are either current or former BOG members that have served in the last three years
