Transcript and Transcript Evaluation Processing

The ASCP BOC processes all transcripts and transcript evaluations in the order in which they are received.

For correctly submitted transcripts and transcript evaluations, allow 2 weeks for review by the ASCP BOC team after they have been downloaded. During peak season (March - August), review may take longer.

If your transcript or transcript evaluation was submitted more than 3 weeks ago, use the checklist below to verify that you submitted your transcript or transcript evaluation correctly.

Verify Submission of Transcript or Transcript Evaluation

  • Log in to your ASCP account and "View Details" of your completed BOC application.
    • Under BOC Activities, click Completed BOC Exam Applications
    • Click Show Details
    • Review any information provided
  • Did you accidentally send the electronic transcript or transcript evaluation to yourself rather than the ASCP BOC?
    • Check your junk, spam, and email folders for any emails sent to you
    • If you ordered your transcript or evaluation through Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, or another vendor, log in to their website to verify where it was sent
    • If you sent the transcript or transcript evaluation to yourself, you will need to resend it directly to the ASCP BOC
    • If the transcript or transcript evaluation was sent correctly to the ASCP BOC more than 3 weeks ago, see Missing Transcripts below
  • Does the last name on your transcript or transcript evaluation match the last name on your examination application? 
    • If the names do not match, send an email to Transcripts.boc@ascp.org with the subject line "Alternate Name" and include the following information:
      • your first and last names as they appear on your application
      • ASCP customer ID
      • category of application
      • the name that appears on the transcript or transcript evaluation
      • the institution from which the transcript was sent OR the agency from which the transcript evaluation was sent
      • exact date the transcript or transcript evaluation was sent
      • How the transcript or transcript evaluation was sent (mail, electronic)
        • If sent electronically, provide the order number and provider - NSC, Parchment, school, etc.

       

    • If the names do match and the transcript or transcript evaluation was sent correctly to the ASCP BOC more than three weeks ago, see Missing Transcripts below

  • Did you send your transcript or transcript evaluation before your application was paid/officially submitted?
    • If you did send them before submitting your application, send an email to Transcripts.boc@ascp.org with the subject line "Early Transcript" and include the following information:
      • your first and last names as they appear on your application
      • ASCP Customer ID
      • category of application
      • date of paid application
      • the name that appears on the transcript or transcript evaluation
      • the institution from which the transcript was sent OR the agency from which the transcript evaluation was sent
      • how the transcript or transcript evaluation was sent (mail, electronic)
        • If sent electronically, provide the order number and provider - NSC, Parchment, school, etc.
    • If the transcript or transcript evaluation was sent correctly to the ASCP BOC more than 3 weeks ago, see Missing Transcripts below

     

 

Missing Transcripts

If your transcript or transcript evaluation was submitted more than 3 weeks ago, and you have verified that you submitted it correctly (see above), follow the instructions below to send an email to the ASCP BOC team for investigation.   

All emails will be reviewed and issues investigated as quickly as possible. Please allow 3 – 5 business days for a response or resolution.

Electronically Submitted Transcripts

If the transcript or transcript evaluation was sent electronically, forward your order confirmation to Transcripts.boc@ascp.org 

  • Change the subject line to be "Missing Electronic Transcript"
  • Include the following information:
    • your first and last names as they appear on your application
    • ASCP customer ID
    • category of application

Mailed Transcripts

If the transcript or transcript evaluation was sent by mail, in paper form, send an email to Transcripts.boc@ascp.org

  • Subject line of "Mailed Transcript"
  • Include the following information:
    • your first and last names as they appear on your application
    • ASCP customer ID
    • category of application
    • The institution or agency from which the transcript or evaluation was sent
    • The date that it was mailed
    • The first and last names on the transcript or transcript evaluation
