CLIA Response Task Force

The American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) Response Task Force was created to address changes and interpretations of CLIA, a set of U.S. federal regulations that govern clinical laboratory testing.

Responsibilities

CLIA Response Task Force volunteers must be acquainted with CLIA regulations that govern clinical laboratory testing to ensure the accuracy, readability, and timeliness of patient test results.

Time Commitment

  • Some projects may have a goal or target date, but the commitment time varies by project and task

Volunteer opportunities are limited to current members of the ASCP BOC Board of Governors and other standing comittees.
