Credential Examinations

The American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) credential portfolio includes 29 certification and qualification examinations across the full spectrum of specialties in laboratory medicine, pathology, and related domains. ASCP BOC examinations are developed through rigorous and comprehensive processes that are aligned with industry standards, as evidenced by our ongoing ANAB accreditation under ISO/IEC:17024. The examination development process is overseen by the skilled ASCP BOC team, who are experts in examination development and psychometrics, with volunteer subject matter experts contributing to examination content.
