Majority Of Americans Say Pandemic Is Over But Fear Future Health Crisis, Survey Shows

The Hill (3/7, Crisp) reported, “Five years after COVID-19 prompted widespread shutdowns across the world, most Americans say that while that pandemic is over, a new deadly health crisis is brewing, according to a new poll.” The latest Gallup survey shows Republicans “were more likely than Democrats to say the pandemic is over – 79 percent to 43 percent, respectively – and less likely to be worried about another global pandemic – 66 percent to 22 percent.” Meanwhile, the survey found that 58% of US adults “are worried about another global pandemic.”
