ASCP needs skilled and experienced laboratory professionals and pathologists to train, mentor, and provide expert diagnostic consultation in resource-limited countries.
These individuals are willing to travel to foreign sites to assist with teaching laboratory professionals key topics such as HIV viral load and quality management systems.
These individuals are pathologists and laboratory professionals who are willing to be assigned to a country and provide virtual expert training and mentorship.
Native language speakers (currently Spanish and Burmese, others soon) are needed who can provide advice and instruction in the basic and advanced processes of pathology to city leaders and other officials for the design of implementation plans around cancer.
As with the Committee, these volunteers are willing to travel to foreign countries to assist with onsite assessments, presentations, and discussions about pathology laboratory operations in native languages.
These individuals, in collaboration with Pathologists Overseas, are willing to travel to foreign sites to assist with teaching residents, medical students, and faculty about pathology topics, assist with pathology related procedure trainings, and/or assist with clinical case work.
These individuals will be board-certified anatomic pathologists with a current medical license who are willing to be assigned to a country and provide expert diagnostic consultation on whole slide images from active cases.
