Study Finds Anti-RA33 Antibodies Are Present Among Significant Percentage Of Patients With Lyme Arthritis, Other LD Manifestations

Rheumatology Advisor (1/24, Kuhns) reported, “Anti-RA33 antibodies are present among a significant percentage of patients with Lyme arthritis and other Lyme disease (LD) manifestations, according to study results.” The researchers said, “Despite the increased prevalence in LD-exposed groups compared with healthy controls, we were unable to identify unique clinical manifestations, serologies, or ultrasound results based on the presence of anti-RA33 antibodies.” The findings were published in the Journal of Clinical Rheumatology.
