Infectious Disease Advisor (10/30, Nye) reports, “The use of remdesivir for the treatment of acute SARS-CoV-2 in pediatric patients appears to be safe, according to study results.” The researchers said, “In our study of hospitalized children of all ages with COVID-19 who were treated with remdesivir, most patients experienced only mild and transient transaminitis and normal creatinine concentrations.” The findings were published in BMC Infectious Diseases.
