ASCP’s 2026 Building Bridges Across the Laboratory Community virtual series supports professional development and strengthens advocacy across the medical laboratory workforce. This year’s program equips laboratory professionals with communication strategies that enhance visibility and highlight the essential role of the laboratory in patient care. 

The upcoming Collaboration in Action webinar, set for June 17, will shine a spotlight on the work of ASCP, the MPHLW Coalition and the COLA Workforce Action Alliance, bringing renewed attention to the growing push for stronger inter‑organizational ties across the laboratory community. Designed to move beyond theory and into practice, the session will explore strategies for collaboration that help laboratories communicate more effectively and build durable partnerships in an increasingly complex public health landscape. Speakers are expected to share forward‑looking practices and real‑world insights aimed at helping laboratory professionals enhance operational performance, strengthen cross‑sector cooperation, and drive meaningful laboratory medicine workforce advancement throughout the field.
