Scientists Identify New Kind Of Taste Cell In Mice

Newsweek (8/13, Gander) reports scientists “identified a new type of taste cell in mice that, unlike others, can respond to a range of stimuli: bitter, sweet and umami.” The findings were published in PLOS Genetics.
