I am very grateful to have been named a Top Five Honoree in ASCP’s 40 Under Forty class of 2022. In May of 2023, I had the honor of being the graduation speaker and Honorary Doctorate of Human Letters recipient at Immaculata University’s graduate school commencement ceremony. Their collegiate magazine featured my professional contributions, as a ’04 alumna, to the field of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine as a Program Director and through the Medical Lab Lady Gill YouTube channel. The Medical Lab Lady Gill initiatives and events, such as the Cell Bowl, continue to increase community awareness of the medical laboratory professions while promoting NAACLS-accredited MLT/MLS degree programs across the nation.
