Adekunle Alabi, PhD, D(ABCC), NRCC, C(ASCP)CM, is a medical director and assistant professor at UC Health and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. He is board-certified by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry, certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and holds certification from the National Registry of Certified Chemists. Dr. Alabi completed his PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Alberta, Canada, and his Clinical Chemistry Fellowship at UC San Diego.
As Medical Director of Clinical Toxicology and Mass Spectrometry, Dr. Alabi oversees laboratory operations while serving as CLIA Laboratory Director for multiple facilities including UC Health's Point-of-Care Testing and Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit. His role combines clinical consultation with healthcare providers, research and development of novel testing methods, and quality assurance implementation.
Dr. Alabi's North Star is advancing precision medicine through innovative laboratory diagnostics and fostering the next generation of laboratory professionals.
