ASCP is working with the American Medical Association (AMA) to get Congress to override a 4.5-percent cut to the Medicate physician fee schedule (PFS). The PFS pays for both pathologists’ professionals services and the technical services provided by laboratory professionals.
As part of this effort, ASCP is urging its members to ask Congress to reverse these cuts. You can do this in two to three short minutes by using a recent AMA
Action Alert. Act now to prevent cuts that will impact the pathology and laboratory medicine workforce.
Note: While the website was designed for physicians, non-physicians are welcome to use the website too.
