This year, ASCP 2021 Boston, Oct. 27-29, returns to in-person programming in addition to a virtual event that will bring even greater opportunities to learn, connect, collaborate and be inspired.
New this year, all registered attendees will have increased access to a wide range of virtual sessions held in the weeks leading up to the Annual Meeting. This includes a career seminar led by ASCP’s Human Resources staff, additional hours of education for laboratory professionals, residents and pathologists, as well as collaborative roundtable-style discussions.
There will also be two days of the Resident Review series in the weeks before the Annual Meeting. The virtual Resident Review sessions will help pathology residents prepare for their board exams, and will include many new sessions covering challenging, high-interest topic areas to help residents get ready for exam day.
During the Annual Meeting itself, residents won’t want to miss the annual Michele D. Raible Lecture for Residents.
For pathologists, there will be extensive educational content offered in subspecialty areas by leaders in such fields as breast pathology, hematopathology, genitourinary pathology, gynecological pathology, dermatopathology and more.
Education for laboratory professionals includes hematology/coagulation, microbiology, transfusion medicine/blood banking and clinical chemistry.
After the Annual Meeting, attendees will have the option to continue their learning for three months of full access to all recorded sessions, along with continued access to the entire virtual meeting platform by selecting the Complete Package. This translates into more than 100 credit hours of access which allows attendees to select what sessions they want, in the format they want at the time that they want.
