Infectious Disease Advisor (7/24, Kuhns) reports research found “integrating sexually transmitted infection (STI) services into national pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) guidance enhances person-centered care and addresses STI epidemics alongside HIV.” Additionally, the study’s findings suggest “the successful integration of these services is particularly crucial for improving the quality of care in high-risk populations disproportionately affected by HIV and STIs.” The findings were published in Sexually Transmitted Infections.
