ASCP Ambassadors Program
ASCP Ambassadors is a volunteer network of ASCP members dedicated to inspiring the next generation of laboratory and pathology professionals. Through hands-on activities and engaging presentations, Ambassadors help young people understand and appreciate the medical laboratory’s role in patient care. Ambassadors cultivate relationships in their community while inspiring students to pursue a career in the medical laboratory and pathology.
This program brings together laboratory professionals, residents, and pathologists who engage with students at all stages of education—from middle school through medical school. Ambassadors give presentations in classrooms, lead interactive activities, and host meetups to introduce students to laboratory medicine and pathology, share career insights, and foster interest in the field.
