Colorado Makes Doxxing Health Workers Illegal

On May 18, Colorado Governor Jared Polis signed legislation making it illegal to share the personal information, ie, phone numbers, addresses, etc., of public health workers or their families for the purpose of harassment. Public health workers have increasingly been the target of harassment due to their frontline roles as part of the coronavirus pandemic response. ASCP supports efforts to prevent America’s frontline health workers from being the harassed for the lifesaving work they do for America’s patients.
