During these holidays, I am thankful for you. What are you thankful for?

As we approach the holidays, I’d like to take a moment to say how proud I am of our pathology and medical laboratory professionals and how thankful I am for the extraordinary work you have been doing this year to fight the coronavirus. 

This current surge of COVID-19 is the most difficult phase yet, and many of you have been working round-the-clock to save patients’ lives. I know it is draining, and it may seem like there is no end in sight.

But we have to have hope. By supporting one another, we will get through this. So please take a moment and thank a colleague who has gone the extra mile. Offer a kind word, and let them know you care.

You are our frontline heroes, and I pay tribute to you in this time of gratitude.
