ASCP, CAP Developing New Lymphoma Guidelines

ASCP is working with the College of American Pathology (CAP) and the American Society of Hematology (ASH) in a collaborative effort, chaired by ASCP Past President Steven Kroft, MD, MASCP, to develop an evidence-based clinical practice guideline on the “Laboratory Workup of Lymphoma.” ASCP and CAP have approved this guideline through organizational review. Additionally, the ASH Guideline Oversight Subcommittee and the Committee on Quality reviewed these guidelines and affirmed their value for hematologists. Look for second quarter publication in the American Journal of Clinical Pathology and the Archives of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine as the “ASCP-CAP Guideline on the Laboratory Workup of Lymphoma.”
