ASCP Mentorship Program Helps Professionals Advance Their Career

The ASCP Mentorship Program connects ASCP members for professional guidance and support. The mentorship program matches individuals with specific skills and knowledge (mentors) with individuals seeking the same skills (mentees). Mentors will guide protégés in improving desired skills, advancing in the lab and connecting with others outside of their lab.

ASCP’s Mentorship Program pairs participants with a willing mentor, focused on advancing the member’s personal career goals. Members are matched with a fellow ASCP colleague based on professional skills that the mentee wants to acquire and that the mentor has to offer.

Mentors will guide their mentee in improving desired skills, advancing in the lab and connecting with others outside of their lab. You can connect with anyone regardless of location; mentors don’t need to live near you. Most mentorships last for a year, but you’ll have flexibility to decide. We’ll provide tips and guidelines along the way to help ensure your mentorship is a success. It takes less than five minutes to get started.
