Global Outreach Opportunities

Global Outreach Opportunities

ASCP takes great pride in the impact that the trainings and workshops make within a countries’ laboratory infrastructure, but also on the lives of the volunteer consultants.

Currently ASCP Global Outreach is looking for individuals with the following skill sets:
  • Foreign language ability: We are looking for individuals fluent in Russian, French, Haitian Kreyol, Portuguese, Vietnamese, or Khmer who are able to conduct laboratory-related trainings in these languages,
  • Pre-Service programs experience: We are looking for individuals who currently work in or have experience working with medical laboratory educational programs, especially university-level programs.
Opportunities include serving as a laboratory trainer for an on-site training, performing long-term technical assistance or mentorship, or serving as part of a workgroup to develop training materials. Please read the Consultant Position Description or see the FAQ section for more details.

Ultimately these opportunities will serve to enhance the quality of laboratory testing practices and services in order to improve the effectiveness of HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria prevention, care and treatment services and interventions.
"This remarkable experience of working with the ASCP Institute on the PEPFAR Pre-Service Training has been a highlight of my professional career."
