Evaluation and CME/SAMs CME/CMLE Credit Claiming Instructions

Track Your Session Attendance

Session evaluations must be completed in order to claim credits. Credits must be claimed within 30 days after the last day of the meeting. To claim your credits, please do the following:

  1. Login to your account on www.ascp.org
  2. From the “ASCP Activities” dashboard card, click on “Meetings & Credits” link.
  3. From the Meetings & Credits page, click on the “AM17FIL (ASCP 2017) Access your annual meeting evaluations and credits” link.
  4. If you chose sessions pre-meeting they will appear; if not please click the “All Sessions” tab to add the sessions you attended.
  5. Click on your “My Sessions” tab to take the evaluations and claim credits for your sessions.

Please note:

  • Once submitted, the number of credits cannot be changed or removed
  • Partial credit can be claimed for overlapping sessions in the same time period

Claim Your SAMs CME Credit

If a session is eligible for SAMs CME credit, you will be directed to a Post Test prior to the evaluation. You may bypass this Post Test if you are only claiming CME credit for the session. Upon successful completion of the Post Test, you will receive SAMs CME credit.

Claim Your CME/SAMs CME/CMLE Credit On-Site

Evaluate sessions that you attended via our Kiosk located in the Exhibit Hall and claim credit on-site.

Accreditation Statement

The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.

Credit Designation Statement

The ASCP designates this live activity for a maximum of 24.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Method of Participation

To complete the activity and receive credit, the participant must attend the program and complete an online evaluation. CME/SAMs CME/CMLE certificates will be provided online.
