The ASCP Mentorship Program connects ASCP members for professional guidance and support. The mentorship program connects individuals with specific skills and experience (mentors) with individuals looking to grow in their careers by learning from others (mentees).

About the Mentorship Program

The ASCP Mentorship Program connects ASCP members for professional guidance and support. Mentors will guide mentees in improving desired skills, advancing in the lab, and connecting with others outside of their lab.

A mentorship provides benefits for both the mentees and the mentors including:

- Promoting personal and professional development

- Cultivating leadership skills

- Decreasing stress and anxiety

- Increasing job satisfaction

- Improving key talents

- Expanding your network

Mentors and Mentees are matched up through a selection of criteria, and mentoring sessions can take place through a variety of methods from in person to over email.
