This CMS-approved gynecologic cytology proficiency testing program is designed according to federal CLIA regulations to test basic locator and diagnostic skills for gynecologic cytology specimens. It leverages the experience gained from over 35,000 individual tests, as well as the collective knowledge of ASCP cytopathology experts.
You choose the test date and the Prep type you want to be tested on. Refereeing exceeds CLIA requirements; consisting of three physicians and two senior-level cytotechnologists. All results are returned within 7 business days from the date the testing materials are received by ASCP. All testing events with scores less than 90% are automatically put through a Defacto-Appeal before results are returned.
