ASCP Subspecialty Grant Recipient Develops Hematologic Profile of Haitians
Pathology resident Yen-Michael Hsu, MD, received an ASCP Resident Subspecialty Grant to spend a clinical rotation in Haiti. There, he taught lab professionals and took blood samples donated by 30 hospital employees to develop a valuable, authentic hematologic profile of local Haitians. Applications for Round 2 of the ASCP Resident Subspecialty Grants are due on Jan. 15, 2013. Read more here.
