PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This presentation addresses the controversies surrounding human papilloma virus (HPV) testing and the management of women with equivocal abnormalities on Pap smear. The advantages and disadvantages of currently available testing methods are discussed. Plus, cost-reimbursement issues and strategies for implementing HPV testing are presented. This presentation is a MUST for all pathologists, laboratory managers, laboratory supervisors, cytotechnologists, and other healthcare professionals handling issues associated with women's health.
