Nine Laboratories Honored for ‘Getting Results’

National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week kicked off April 19. This year, ASCP wants to spotlight laboratory teams that get results all year long through professional collaboration among pathologists, laboratory technologists, technicians, phlebotomists, and other exceptional members of the healthcare team.

At ASCP, we believe that Lab Week is a special celebration all about people - dedicated professionals like you and the members of your laboratory team who make a difference by working together to provide results each and every day.

The ASCP recently asked its members to send in stories of people using the strength of the entire laboratory team to work together to get results. In return, the ASCP is helping to give these professionals the recognition they deserve. The ASCP was pleased to hear back from more than 100 laboratories with unique perspectives. Nine winners (and four honorable mentions) were chosen from the submissions sent in from across the country. The ASCP treated the winners to a Lab Week pizza party - complete with pizza, dessert, and other special gifts and surprises.
