When people are involved, conflict and resistance to change are inevitable. This program is designed for laboratorians who want to minimize conflict with others, feel less threatened by change, and increase their interpersonal skills. You can develop a positive response to, and even prevent, many stressful situations by using the tips and techniques you'll discover in this workshop. You'll learn ways to approach change and overcome your resistance, promote cooperation in the workplace, evaluate and resolve sources of conflict, and communicate effectively with all healthcare professionals.

Following this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Describe appropriate ways to minimize and manage conflict.
  • Explain methods to promote cooperation in the workplace.
