Clinical Pathology topics are presented with case histories, laboratory data and/or full-color images.
- Topic areas include body fluids, clinical chemistry/immunology, forensic pathology, hematology/coagulation, transfusion medicine, microbiology, and laboratory management
- A unique feature of this program is the annual comprehensive case that follows a patient through their course of laboratory evaluation
- Participants receive peer-reviewed interpretations for each case. Demographically-based laboratory and individual participant reports with peer to peer comparisons are provided. Up to 28 CME/CMLE of continuing professional education credit are offered each year
- Pathology residents can participate at no additional fee
The ASCP is accredited by the ACCME to provide CME for physicians. The ASCP designates these educational activities for a maximum of the indicated number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activities.
