Lab Training Harmonization Workshop: CD4, Hematology Chemistry: March 17 – 20, 2008
CDC-Nigeria, the Nigerian Ministry of Health and ASCP are hosting a harmonization workshop in Abuja, Nigeria to work with the other nine implementing partners in Nigeria. The group will be reviewing training packages currently used for CD4, hematology and chemistry. And the objectives of the workshop are to standardize training packages across partners, to share best practices and to develop a minimal requirement for training packages. ASCP consultants attending the workshop are Dr. Ronald Cleveland (CD4), Jo Gayle Logsdon MT(ASCP) (Hematology), Perthena Latchaw MS, MT(ASCP) (Chemistry). Barbara Hoffman and Toria Shaw (ASCP Institute) will provide staff support.
