International

ASCP offers international membership to qualified individuals who are trained and reside outside of North America. Please see international membership category descriptions and benefits below.

International Fellow

Eligibility: You are eligible for International Fellow membership if you are a legally qualified physician certified in anatomic or clinical pathology and you hold membership in an appropriate medical association.

Annual Dues: $100 USD

International Medical Affiliate

Eligibility: You are eligible for International Medical Affiliate membership if you are a legally qualified physician who holds membership in an appropriate medical association and are not eligible for International Fellow membership.

Annual Dues: $100 USD

International Resident

Eligibility: You are eligible for International Resident membership if you are a legally qualified physician actively training for a career in pathology and enrolled in an accredited training program.

Annual Dues: Complimentary (for duration of Residency training program)

International Laboratory Professional

Eligibility: You are eligible for International Laboratory Professional membership if you hold ASCPi certification from the Board of Registry in one or more categories.

Annual Dues: $65 USD

International Clinical Scientist

Eligibility: You are eligible for International Clinical Scientist if you are a laboratory professional holding an academic doctorate (PhD).

Annual Dues: $65 USD

International Laboratory Student

Eligibility: You are eligible for International Laboratory Student membership if you intend to meet the ASCPi Board of Registry eligibility requirements for certification and you have been accepted or are currently enrolled in a Medical Laboratory Program that has been accredited or approved by the appropriate regulatory body or Ministry for your country. Applicants in countries without an existing system of accreditation must have their membership approved by the ASCP Commission on Membership.

Annual Dues: Complimentary (for duration of educational program)

International Medical Student

Eligibility: You are eligible for International Medical Student membership if you are enrolled in a medical school accredited or approved by the appropriate regulatory body or Ministry for your country. Applicants in countries without an existing system of accreditation must have their membership approved by the ASCP Commission on Membership.

Annual Dues: Complimentary (for duration of educational program)
