Education Home Quickstart

The Education Home is your one-stop for managing your professional development activities. Here, you’ll find a set of comprehensive resources that will help you manage your transcript, find your learning resources, and launch your online learning.

Login—To access your resources, first log in to the ASCP.org site. On the right menu bar, enter your username and password. Click login.

Education Home portal page

From the ASCP.org site, click education home. This title is in the middle of the page.

The Education Home page provides a ‘launching’ point for your activities. The left menu items give an overview of education and assessment programs, so you can find learning events tied to your area of interest.

Click CME/CMLE for a description of programs, like our meetings, assessment and self-study, eLearning, and teleconferences.

Click Certification Maintenance for quick links to ABP requirements for MOC and the ASCP resources outlining the timeline, as well as requirements for the Board of Registry’s CMP program. This page also lists related ASCP programs in the various delivery modes.

Click Events Calendar to see the schedule of our meetings, events, conferences and teleconferences.

At the bottom of your screen you will see 3 large blue buttons. From here you can access your online courses, materials, and transcripts.

Click My Courses to launch online courses you have purchased.

Click My Materials to view and/or download materials and images related to the course you have taken.

Click My Transcripts and Certificates to see a summary of your credit summary and print your transcripts and individual course completion certificates.

Pop-ups—Be sure any pop-up blockers are disabled. www.ascp.org/popup for more detailed information.

Shortcut—After you login, use the navigate options available in the Education Home by clicking on MY ASCP in the right menu.

What do you want to do?

You must first be logged into the ascp.org site! Be sure pop-up blockers are disabled.

You may complete these actions from the Education Home portal page, or from the My ASCP link in the welcome box (located in the right column under your name). Most directions are given from the Education Home path.

Print my program certificate

From the Education Home page, click My Transcripts & Certificates. The Transcript page appears.

Click View Transcripts & Certificates.

To view a certificate, click the underlined Program code. Use your browser controls to print.

Print my transcript

From the Education Home page, click My Transcripts & Certificates. The Transcript page appears.

  • To see credits for a set time period, enter dates (mm/dd/yy). Click Go.
  • To sort the transcript entries, click the underline column heading.

Click the Print Transcript button.

Follow detailed directions listed at credit.ascp.org

  • You will need to associate yourself with your institution in order to access the exercises and exams.

Launch an online course

From the Education Home page, click My Courses. The My Courses & Exams page appears.

To launch a course, click the underlined Product Code in the table.

  • To return to this page from the course, click Education Home icon in the upper right.

Find free CE courses

After you log in, click My ASCP in the welcome box.

Under the Education Home heading, click Manage Free CE Credits. The Free CE Exercises page displays.

  • You are presented with two columns, Available Free CE Courses and Selected/Completed Free CE Courses.

Check the course(s) you want, and then click Select. The title moves to Selected/Completed Free CE Courses.

  • Be sure you want the selected courses before moving to the next step. This process cannot be reversed.

Click the My Courses & Exams button to access your selected courses.

To launch your course, click the underlined Product link.

Record meeting attendance Or
Claim individual teleconference credit

After you log in, click My ASCP in the welcome box.

Under the Education Home heading, click Record Session/Meeting Attendance. The Record Session/Meeting Attendance page displays.

Enter your meeting Order No. and Attendance Password supplied by your site coordinator or seminar manager.

Click Submit.

  • You must complete the course evaluation before certificate of participation is issued.
  • To view/print your certificate, click My ASCP in the welcome box. Follow the directions (above) for viewing and printing.

Add non-ASCP credit to my transcript

From the Education Home page, click My Courses. The My Courses & Exams page appears.

Click Add Self-Recorded Credit. The Add Self-Record Credit page displays.

To add credit from another CME/CMLE program, complete the Activity Type, Title, Begin Date, Certificate Date, Sponsor, Category and Credits fields.

Click Submit.

  • To view your self-recorded credit, click View Transcript.

Register for a meeting or purchase a product

On the ascp.org home page, click on the menu option on the right column, for example: Take an online course or Register for a meeting. The ASCP Store page appears.

  • You can also access the Store by clicking on the tab in the upper right of the home page.

In the Store, you can select a featured item or search for items in the left navigation: Meetings and Conferences, Assessment and Self-study, eLearning, and Teleconferences.

Click on a topic to purchase; then click Add to Cart (or Register).

Next, you will see your shopping cart with item(s) to purchase; click the checkout icon and provide payment information located at the bottom of your screen.

Finally, click Place My Order to complete your purchase.

Download course materials

From the Education Home page, click My Materials. The My Downloads page appears.

To view the materials, click the underlined Product Code.
