Certification Maintenance Program (CMP)

ASCP is your learning and certification partner. We’re ready to help you earn the credits you need with quality continuing educational programs in a variety of platforms that offer the flexibility and convenience you need.

You’re serious about your career and your profession. That’s why you want to make sure to document your competence by participating in the ASCP Board of Registry Certification Maintenance Program (CMP). When you add the initials (ASCP)CM after your name, your colleagues will know that you are committed to the highest standards of your profession.

If you received your certification in January 2004 or later, you must document earned continuing education credits every three years in order to maintain your certification. When you maintain your ASCP membership for 3 years, ASCP pays your CMP fee and offers special savings on educational programs and resources that help you earn CE credits towards CMP.

ASCP can help you track progress towards meeting your CMP requirements. Simply access your personal online transcript to review or record your CMLE activities. You can also print or download a cumulative report.
