Continuing Medical Education (CME)

As the premier provider of continuing medical education (CME) for practicing pathologists, pathology fellows, and pathology residents, ASCP is proud to provide you with the experts and the latest information in surgical, cytological, and clinical pathology. We support your lifelong learning in and dedication to pathology, while also meeting institutional, licensure, and MOC requirements.

The ASCP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide CME for physicians. Our commitment to quality was reaffirmed by our recent ACCME “Accreditation with Commendation,” our fifth consecutive six-year accreditation.

The ASCP designates these educational activities for a maximum of the indicated number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activities. All ASCP CME activities are acceptable for the American Board of Pathology’s Maintenance of Certification Program, Part II Lifelong Learning. Many also meet the requirements for Part II Self-Assessment Modules and/or Part IV Quality Assurance.
