The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) has outsourced online verification of it's certification to National Student Clearinghouse (NSC).
Before placing your first order, you will be prompted to create a user profile, including the user name and password that you will use whenever you return to the site. Each transaction is $13.00 payable by credit card.
In order to verify an ASCP certification, you will need the first and last name that the individual used at the time of certification and one or more of the following:
- Certification Category
- ASCP Customer ID Number (this is not the certification number)
- Social Security Number
You will receive your results on screen when you place your order. (There is a print screen option.) If the data provided on the order form does not match the online database, you will be instructed to submit additional information to the ASCP.
- Newly Certified: Please do not submit requests for verification of certification prior to receiving your exam score report by mail, usually within 10 business days after the date of examination. Refunds will not be issued for verification orders submitted early.
- Qualifications: ASCP Qualifications are not verified through National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). Please use a copy of your certificate to verify your qualification.
