The ASCPi International Committee in S. Korea, led by K.J. Cho, announced completion of the first review course for ASCPi. The course lasted from June 2, 2007 through September 12, 2007 and was designed to prepare Korean Medical Technology students for the ASCPi examination. The course, led by faculty members from Clinical Laboratory Science programs in universities across South Korea, was held at the Korean Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (KAMT) head office and covered all areas of required proficiency for the MT(ASCPi) examination. Students met for three-hour classes to total 72 hours within a three month period. At least thirty-five students registered for the fall course which began September 29, 2007. Students who graduated from the summer session plan to sit for the ASCPi examination in October/November. |
