Began: As a Hospital Corpsman and Advanced Laboratory Technician in the United States Navy.
Education: MLT certificate from the Naval School of Health Sciences, associates’ degree in laboratory technology from The George Washington University, bachelors and masters in health sciences from Trident University, and a doctorate in healthcare administration from Capella University. Certificate in healthcare six-sigma from Villanova University and an Associate Fellow with the Association of Clinical Scientists.
Currently: Lee is Director of Laboratory Services for Glencoe Regional Health System where he oversees the main hospital lab and two satellite laboratories. Teaches MLT students and MLS students at Rasmussen College and Argosy University, holds adjunct faculty positions in several online healthcare and clinical research administration programs, and serves on the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institutes point-of-care consensus committee.
Research Interests: Community wellness measures, diagnostic instrumentation development and education.
Volunteerism: Serves as a volunteer national inspector for the College of American Pathologists.
