Began: At the young age of only 18, Daniel enlisted in the US Air Force and trained as a medical laboratory technician.
Education: While in the service, he completed a B.S. in health sciences from Trident University, an A.S. in Laboratory Sciences from Community College of the Air Force, and an MBA in Healthcare Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Accomplishments: Daniel was handpicked to deploy to Afghanistan to train Afghani laboratory professionals on best practices and quality assurance.
Currently: Daniel serves as the Technical Supervisor of the Hematology Department at the 45th Medical Group at Patrick Air Force Base, and as an adjunct professor at Florida Eastern State College where he teaches medical laboratory automation.
