- describe the various clinical outcomes that follow acute exposure to hepatitis B
virus (HBV).
- differentiate serologic patterns associated with different categories of hepatitis B
infection.
- discuss the impact of chemotherapy and immunosuppression on HBV
expression.
- compare the similarities and differences between seroreversion and reactivation
of hepatitis B.
- develop appropriate testing algorithms to detect persons at risk for HBV
reactivation/seroreversion.
