  • describe the most common lesions involving the adrenal glands of adults.
  • recognize the cytologic features of adrenal cortical adenomas and carcinomas, myelolipomas, and pheochromocytomas.
  • describe the differential diagnosis of adrenal cortical lesions and the immunocytochemical stains helpful in differential diagnosis.
