  • list the histological criteria that define the neuroendocrine tumors of the lower respiratory tract, namely typical carcinoid, atypical carcinoid, large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma, and small cell carcinoma.
  • discuss the treatment options for large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma and small cell carcinoma.
